21/04/14 Published on the 21st of April 2014 the article tells the story of how Copenhagen is falling behind in international rankings when it comes to attracting and maintaining talent. The basis for the article is the recently released A.T. Kearney report on Global Cities. Part of the methodology measures the ability of a city to attract talent based among other elements the international student population and residents with a university degree. In northern Europe there are several cities that meet the criteria of being "attractive for students", but the Danish capital - with its more than 525 year old University, with its culture, size and location is the most prominent of all, the Nordic Capital. Where is Copenhagen Municipality, where is the Lord Mayor in the fight for making Copenhagen such an attractive university capital in Europe? The students need good living quarters, otherwise they turn around and go back home.
