The demand for student accommodation will be extraordinary at the beginning of the upcoming semester, as the number of students enrolling in Danish universities and schools of higher education is at a record high. With 64,423 student homes available throughout the country, and 247,860 students in need of accommodation, only one out of four students can expect to find student housing in Denmark. The Social Democrats acknowledge that something has to be done.
